This postcard from about 1909 shows one of the mile markers on the Boston Post Road in Springfield, Mass.: "This Stone is Erected by Joseph Wait, Esq., of Brookfield For the Benefit of Travllers AD 1763."
The postcard was printed in Germany by the Robbins Bros. Company of Boston.
